CITCO’s Week long celebrations on the 48th Anniversary were concluded today with a thrilling Harley Davidson road show. The worthy Adviser to the Administrator, UT of Chandigarh, Sh.Dharam Pal flagged off the Harley Davidson Road show from Hotel Shivalikview on Sunday at 11 am in the presence of I.G, U.T. Chandigarh, Sh. Omvir Singh Bishnoi , Managing Director CITCO Ms Purva Garg , Chief General Manager Sh. Akhil Kumar & other senior bureaucrats of Chandigarh Administration and spectators.
More than 50 Harley Davidson owners participated in the Road Show which started off from Hotel Shivalikview. The Riders headed towards Sector 22, 34, 35. The Bikers displayed their graceful grandeur while cruising along the roads of Chandigarh and its suburbs. The rally traversed through various sectors like Sector 7, 8, 9 & Sukhna Lake in the city and culminated at Hotel Mountview, CITCO. The Road show attracted both participants and visitors.
According to the Managing Director CITCO. Ms Purva Garg IAS “Week long celebrations of CITCO anniversary came to its finale amidst lots of celebrations and festivities. The main highlight was the Harley Davidson road show this weekend to reach out to more and more residents of Chandigarh”. She further added that CITCO is all set to promote tourism in Chandigarh in collaboration with all stakeholders.
The main highlights of the weeklong celebrations were Launch of the weeklong Cake Fest – at Hotel Mountview. The tableau “Cake on Wheels” moved around the city. CITCO arranged Complimentary Hop on Hop off Bus rides for one week for the kids of Snehalaya Sector 38 – Boys orphan home and Aashiana – Girls orphan home in Sector 15 . CITCO also launched the annual calendar of Events for the year 2022-23.
For promotion of the units, CITCO had invited famous food bloggers of the tricity for food tasting at its restaurants on March 22nd. CITCO extended a 35 % flat discount for a week from 28th March to 3rd April, on food and hotel room bookings at all CITCO properties. CITCO runs 7 petrol pumps in the city. Gift vouchers for regular customers were being distributed. To create bonhomie among the members of CITCO family, Inter Hotel sports competition; cultural events were held followed by felicitation of employees including prizes for various competitions on 29th March.
