CITCO & FEED THE SOUL NGO, Mark National Girl Child Day

Chandigarh, January 24: CITCO in association with an NGO FEED THE SOUL, spread happiness and cheers amongst girl children from Bhaskar Colony and Shastri Nagar Chandigarh by arranging a special treat for girl children to celebrate the National Girl Child Day at Sukhna Lake here today. Around 25 kids from different areas of Chandigarh were given a free joy ride on Rooftop Double Decker Hop on Hop off coach of CITCO. The HOHO Bus was flagged by Mrs. Lippi Parida, wife of Adviser to the Administrator U.T Chandigarh in the presence of Managing Director CITCO Ms. Jasvinder Kaur Sidhu IAS, Additional Managing Director CITCO Ms. Nitika Pawar IAS, Chief General Manager CITCO Mr. Rakesh Kumar Popli PCS and Feed the Soul NGO convener, Ms. Soniya Wadhwa, and other members.

Mrs Lippi Parida interacted with all girl children and marked the day by releasing a bunch of pink balloons. The kids were seen off on the bus with hampers , presented by the Chief Guest. The HOHO bus decorated with pink balloons , took the girl children to a sight-seeing tour around the city and covered the prominent tourist places viz. Rose garden , Govt Museum Art Gallery Sector 10 , Rock Garden and Sukhna Lake where the kids enjoyed the delicious snacks and played games.
